1. Electrical Operation & Maintenance
- Ensure smooth functioning of EAF and LF transformer operations including tap changer control, power factor monitoring, and current regulation.
- Maintain electrode control systems and ensure proper calibration and protection settings.
- Monitor and maintain performance of electrical drives, motors, control panels, PLC/SCADA systems, and power distribution networks.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in EAF, LF, VD, Hot Metal Handling, and RMHS areas to minimize downtime.
- Plan and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance schedules to maximize uptime and equipment life.
- Support secure and reliable electrical operation during furnace start-ups, shutdowns, and process transitions2.
