Job Title: L1 Backup Operator (Data Restoration & Migration)

Objective: Ensure effective handling, cataloging, loading, and monitoring legacy tapes to meet strict project timelines while maintaining data integrity and security standards.

- Veritas NetBackup is one of the primary skills required for this position.
- Tape Handling & Inventory Management:
- Tape Operations & Execution:
- Data Verification & Logging:
- Compliance & Security:
- Familiarity with LTO tape technologies (LTO-5, LTO-6, LTO-7, LTO-8) and physical tape library operations.
- Basic understanding of backup software solutions (e.g., Veritas NetBackup, Commvault) and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Ability to read and interpret basic error logs, status codes, and operational dashboards.

Must-Have**

Veritas NetBackup

Working knowledge of Cohesity-Net backup & Commvault
