Job Summary

Highly motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in mechanical equipment design, structural design, and stress analysis. The candidate will be responsible for developing innovative and cost-effective designs, preparing manufacturing drawings, performing engineering calculations, and validating designs through finite element analysis (FEA). The role requires close coordination with manufacturing, procurement, quality teams to ensure successful execution of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Design
- Design mechanical equipment, assemblies, and fabricated structures.
- Develop detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings.
- Perform engineering calculations for mechanical components.




- Optimize designs for manufacturability, assembly, and cost.
- Select suitable materials and standard components.

Structural Design
- Design welded steel structures, platforms, support frames, and machine foundations.
- Perform structural calculations considering static and energetic loads.
- Prepare fabrication drawings and bill of materials (BOM).
- Ensure compliance with applicable design standards and codes.

Stress Analysis (FEA)
- Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for mechanical and structural components.
- Evaluate stress, deformation, fatigue, buckling, and vibration.
- Validate designs using analytical calculations and simulation.
- Recommend design improvements based on simulation results.

Documentation
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
- Prepare detailed fabrication and machining drawings.
- Generate Bills of Materials (BOM).
