Backend Developer

Role Overview

Design, build, and maintain high-performance, enterprise-grade Java backend services and APls supporting critical banking platforms in a cloud-native, microservices environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain RESTful APls and microservices using Java (Spring Boot).
- Contribute to system architecture, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; champion TDD practices.
- Optimize backend services for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Ensure secure coding practices aligned with OWASP and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum delivery model.

- Languages - Java 11/17/21, up-to-date Java features
- Frameworks - Spring Boot,



Spring Security, Spring Data JPA
- APIs - REST, OpenAPI/Swagger
- Stream-processing tools - Kafka, RabbitMQ
- Database - PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redis, MongoDB
- Cloud & Containers - Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP
- CI/CD - Jenkins, GitLab Cl, Maven/Gradle
- Testing - JUnit 5, Mockito, TestContainers

Preferred
- Reactive programming (WebFlux), OAuth2/JWT, Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Financial services domain experience (payments, trade, risk).

Education
- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Java/AWS certifications preferred.
