Role Summary:

Own the P&L;, strategy and growth of DB Canvas* DB Corp's brand solutions studio built on the reach of Dainik Bhaskar, India's most-read Hindi daily. This is a build-and-scale leadership role: you'll set an aggressive revenue agenda, build a lean team of closers and idea-makers, and turn Hindi heartland reach into high-value custom brand solutions for national and regional advertisers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own the revenue target and P&L; for DB Canvas*, Mumbai — set the growth agenda and hold the team to it.
- Build, lead and coach a 5-member team across Business Development and Ideation & Strategy.
- Drive the design of innovative, IP-led brand solutions — custom content, branded activations, on-ground events, print-digital hybrid campaigns — that leverage Dainik Bhaskar's penetration into Hindi-speaking tier 2/3/4 markets.
- Own and grow relationships with CMOs, brand heads and media agency leadership; personally pitch and close large-ticket deals.
- Instill an aggressive, pipeline-driven, revenue-first culture — weekly forecasting, deal reviews,



and accountability for numbers.
- Partner with DB Corp's central marketing, editorial and sales leadership to keep solutions sharp, brand-safe and scalable.
- Represent DB Canvas* at industry forums, agency roundtables and client events as the face of the business.

What We're Looking For:
- 15–20 years in brand solutions, media sales, content marketing or brand consulting/agency leadership; exposure to Hindi-heartland, vernacular or regional media businesses strongly preferred.
- A demonstrated track record of scaling a solutions or content business and owning a revenue number, not just a creative output.
- Solid, current relationships at CXO/CMO level with brands and media agencies.
- An entrepreneurial, hands-on, aggressive operating style — comfortable building a team and a business from a lean base.
