Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, highlighting key variances and trends.
Opex Monitoring: Support the review of operating expenses by tracking actual spend against budget and assisting in departmental cost analysis.
Data Management: Maintain and update financial databases and models to ensure "one version of the truth" for all SaaS metrics (ARR, Churn, etc.).
Forecasting Support: Assist the Senior Manager in the data-gathering phase of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting cycles.
Ad-Hoc Projects: Provide quantitative support for special projects, including pricing analysis and competitive benchmarking.
Qualifications & Requirements
Work Setting: This is a fully remote position.
Time Zone Flexibility: Must be able to align working hours to overlap significantly with the UK and US Eastern (ET) business days.
Experience:
2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related quantitative field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas). Experience or a strong desire to learn Dynamics 365 and Power BI is highly valued.
AI Tools & Prompt Engineering: Familiarity with AI productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot for Excel/Power BI, ChatGPT, or Claude) to accelerate financial data formatting, formula generation, and initial draft variance analysis.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote environment.
