About VidBow:
VidBow is a growing platform focused on educational support and web solutions. We are seeking a detail-oriented Backend Developer Intern (with basic frontend knowledge) to architect and manage the backend services for our internal platforms.
Role Overview & Financial Terms:
- Type: 100% Unpaid Educational Internship (No Stipend).
- Duration: 80 Days (2-3 Months) | Remote (Work From Home).
- Schedule: Flexible 2-3 hours daily.
Please Note: This is strictly an unpaid, educational, skill-building internship aimed at providing hands-on project exposure. VidBow does NOT offer any salary/stipend, nor do we take any fees or hidden costs at any stage.
What You Will Learn & Do:
You will gain hands-on experience in building scalable REST APIs, database architecture, Supabase integration, and dynamic verification systems, along with exposure to full-stack API integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, and optimize secure RESTful APIs for internal web applications.
- Design database schemas (SQL/NoSQL) and manage data flow efficiently using PostgreSQL/Supabase.
- Implement authentication, authorization (JWT/Supabase Auth), and automated PDF/QR-code generation logic.
- Handle API integrations, server logic, and error handling for smooth performance.
- Collaborate on frontend integrations and assist with basic UI connections when necessary.
Required Skills:
- Core Backend & BaaS: Node.js, Express.js, Supabase (or Python - Django/FastAPI).
- Databases: Supabase (PostgreSQL), MongoDB, or MySQL (Prisma/Mongoose is a plus).
- Frontend Basics (Must have): Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js to smoothly connect your APIs/Supabase with the frontend UI.
- Concepts: REST APIs, Database Design, Authentication, System Logic.
- Tools: Git, GitHub, Postman, VS Code.
