The Workday subject matter expert will be responsible for maintaining, designing and innovating change specific to their functional area(s). They will engage with multiple teams at local, regional or global level and contribute to providing robust solutions against business priorities, and in line with the wider technical strategy, whilst ensuring system compliancy.
Key responsibilities:
- Subject Matter Expert for Workday Absence & Time Tracking functional ity , understanding of other modules, and general Workday system capabilities.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Meticulous attention to detail, especially when configuring Workday and managing data.
- Ability to c hallenge demand requests and provide alternatives when appropriate .
- Stays up to date on Workday Releases/ new features /patches , assessing their impact for dentsu and is able to advise stakeholders accordingly .
- Ensures platform compliancy.

Skills and Experience:




- Overall 12+ years experience out of which 4+ years of experience in Workday platform and related ecosystem
- Experience in gathering requirements, design, configuration, and testing of Workday Time Tracking and Absence solutions.
- Expert knowledge of Workday Absence Plans, Time Entry Templates, Time Calculations, Time Entry Codes, Eligibility Rules, Accrual Calculations, Calculated Fields, Business Processes, Custom Reports, Scheduling , Web Service and EIBs .
- Solid knowledge of Workday Security/cross-functional architecture and testing strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with the business and co-workers in a positive manner that engenders confidence and trust.
- Good problem solver with ability to consider alternative and diverse perspectives.
