Role
As a Principal Engineer (IC),



you will lead the design and architecture for the consolidation of microservices and the development of a Supergraph at NAB. You’ll drive technical vision, mentor teams, and ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-native systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead architecture and design for Enterprise Integration Platforms like Supergraph platform, Enterprise Events, Servicemesh.
Lead with data to guide engineering leaders in adopting up-to-date practices across the bank.
Define best practices for GraphQL Federation, Java Spring Boot microservices, and event-driven systems.
Collaborate with teams across Australia, Vietnam, and India, with opportunities for cross-border engagement. Depending on project needs, you may also experience short-term travel and gain exposure to international work environments.
Mentor teams in cloud-native development (AWS/Azure/GCP), DevOps practices, and secure coding.
