About the Role

We are looking for a
Manual Test Engineer with robust API Testing experience
to join our growing QA team.

The ideal candidate will have
2–6 years of experience in Manual Testing
, hands-on experience with
API testing
, and a strong understanding of software testing methodologies.

Experience in the
Insurance domain is highly preferred
. Candidates with relevant experience in insurance applications, policy management, claims,



underwriting, or related BFSI workflows will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute
functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end test cases
.
- Perform
API testing
using tools such as
Postman, Swagger
, or similar tools.
- Validate REST/SOAP APIs, request and response payloads, status codes, error handling, and data integrity.
- Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare detailed
test scenarios and test cases
.
- Perform thorough
manual testing of web and mobile applications (iOS/Android)
.
- Test business workflows and validate application functionality against defined requirements.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects using
JIRA, Bugzilla
, or similar defect management tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve defects.
