Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Lead Applications Engineer (IT Operations) to take ownership of application support operations. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for managing L2/L3 tickets, focusing on independently handling application issues, driving root cause resolution, and building a scalable support function over time. You will work as an extension of the client’s IT team, ensuring smooth operations across systems and providing after-hours coverage aligned with New Zealand business needs.

Core Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve L2/L3 application support tickets efficiently.
- Drive root cause analysis and resolution for application issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application operations.
- Act as the primary liaison for international clients, ensuring effective communication and support.
- Develop and implement scalable support processes and documentation.
- Provide after-hours support as required, aligned with client needs.





Core Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in L2/L3 application support.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL (high priority).
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar).
- Valuable understanding of Office 365 administration.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
