Dean will enable bringing in industry experts in formulating various policies
and practices for the school. The Dean has to provide leadership in the growth
and development of the newly established school, bringing in the experiences and
practices in similar leading schools within the country and internationally.
Among other things, he is expected to lead the development, design courses and
curricula pertaining to Health Sciences, introduce new specialisations as per
the best practices and latest technologies used in the industry. He will guide
and be instrumental in developing the requisite infrastructure for the school,
procure and promote resources for academic delivery of the School. He is also
expected to provide leadership in establishing a research facility and promoting
research in the school. He will also encourage and establish industry
collaborations, to give hands-on training to the students. In short, the Dean




will have to imbibe a vision to establish the school and take it to responsible
heights and establish it as a leading Institute of Health Science Studies and
Research.

Eligibility:

Eminent scholar with Ph.D. Degree in Life Science/ Health Science or relevant
subject and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research, of a
minimum of 10 years at a university, college, or experience in research at a
national-level institute or industries, with evidence of a leadership position
in any of the above-mentioned organisations

Or

An outstanding skilled, with an established reputation in the Life Science
/ Health Science field and has made significant contribution to the knowledge in
the concern/ alied/ relevant / discipline to be substantiated by credentials.
