Overview Of The Role
As an Associate Engineer - DevOps, you will support the DevOps team in managing application infrastructure, deployments, automation, and day-to-day cloud operations. You will be responsible for defined technical tasks, troubleshoot issues, and maintain development, testing, and production environments.
This role is suited for someone looking to build hands-on experience in AWS, CI/CD, Linux, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code, while developing an understanding of DevOps practices, automation standards, security, and operational processes.
Job Responsibilities
Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of AWS resources such as EC2, S3, VPC, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
Assist in monitoring AWS infrastructure and applications and escalate issues to senior team members when required.
Support application deployments across different environments using established CI/CD pipelines.
Work with tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, AWS CodePipeline, and CodeDeploy under defined processes and guidance.
Write and maintain basic Shell/Bash or Python scripts to automate repetitive operational tasks.
Assist with provisioning and managing infrastructure using Terraform and follow established Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
Support configuration and provisioning activities using tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Perform basic troubleshooting of deployment, configuration, connectivity, and application setting
