Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Control Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.
- Understand the project requirements and cater to reporting requirements.
- Prepare reports covering planning, scheduling & monitoring aspects and cost control.
- Define and agree the Planning requirements and reporting calendar with the client.
- Define and agree the Cost engineering requirements and reporting calendar with the client.
- Prepare activity plans to accomplish all work required by the procedures.
- Assist in preparation of Project monthly, weekly reports and other reports.
- Able to analyse the reports and recommend mitigation actions.
- Commit to and promote organization’s values and ensure the realization of company and project health, safety, environmental, quality and ethics, systems, policies and procedures
Qualifications
Skills / Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 - 5 years’ experience in oil & gas projects
- Must have an Engineering degree.
- Valuable knowledge in MS Excel and other MS office packages. Experience in the use of Primavera Project Planner.
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Knowledge of Project activities covering Engineering, Procurement and Construction.
