We’re Hiring | Head: Operations & Administration Universal Wisdom School, Balewadi is looking for an experienced and energetic Head, Operations & Administration to take ownership of the school’s operational and administrative functions. This is a key leadership role for someone who can ensure that the school’s processes, infrastructure and support systems work seamlessly. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations and administration of the school
- Oversee facilities, maintenance, housekeeping and campus readiness
- Lead security, safety, emergency preparedness and risk management
- Oversee transport operations and compliance
- Manage procurement, vendors, contracts and service providers
- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance
- Develop and implement robust administrative SOPs and systems
- Oversee assets, inventory and resource utilisation
- Plan and monitor operational budgets and expenditure
- Ensure operational readiness for the academic year, events and school activities
- Establish clear service standards,



accountability and response timelines
- Identify operational risks and drive timely resolution of issues
- Lead and develop the school's non-academic support teams
- Work closely with the Principal and SLT to ensure smooth and efficient school functioning We are looking for someone who: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in relevant field Has strong experience in school operations and administration. Has excellent knowledge of facilities, procurement, compliance, safety and vendor management Is a strong people leader with the ability to build accountable and service-oriented teams Is highly organised, process-driven and solution-oriented Can build systems and processes rather than simply manage day-to-day issues Has excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills Demonstrates ownership, integrity and the ability to work in a fast-paced school environment.
