Role Description The RMC Operations and Maintenance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar, responsible for overseeing the daily functioning of the ready-mix concrete plant. The role includes managing batching operations, coordinating logistics for timely deliveries, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. This role involves planning and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment, minimizing downtime and maintaining optimal production capacity. The Manager will lead and guide on-site teams, monitor performance,



and provide training to support safe and efficient operations. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with project teams and customers, resolving operational issues, optimizing resource usage, and preparing regular reports on production, maintenance, and service levels.
Qualifications

- Strong Operations Management and Project Management skills to oversee plant activities, production planning, and timely delivery of concrete.
- Solid Maintenance expertise in handling preventive and breakdown maintenance of batching plants, machinery, and related equipment.
- Proven Team Management capabilities for supervising on-site personnel, assigning tasks, and fostering a safe, collaborative work setting.
- Effective Customer Service skills to coordinate with clients, address operational queries, and support high service standards.
- Relevant experience in ready-mix concrete, construction materials, or industrial plant operations.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control practices, and environmental compliance in manufacturing or construction sectors.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.
