Role Description This full time, on-site Mechanical Design Engineer role is based in Udaipur and focuses on the design of prefabricated structures such as porta cabins, bunk houses, and pre-engineered buildings. The Mechanical Design Engineer will develop and refine mechanical and structural designs, create detailed drawings and 3D models using CAD software, and ensure designs meet safety, performance, and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with project teams and production staff, preparing design calculations, selecting materials and components, and optimizing designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness. The role also involves reviewing client specifications, supporting tender and proposal documentation with technical inputs, and providing design support during fabrication,



installation, and commissioning. The engineer will participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability, ease of assembly, and overall quality.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core mechanical skills, including Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to prefabricated structures.
- Candidates should possess specialized design capabilities in Machine Design and Product Design, focusing on structural integrity, durability, and practical manufacturability.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) for 2D drafting and 3D modeling of mechanical and structural components.
- Candidates should possess the ability to interpret technical drawings, industry standards, and building codes, and translate client requirements into precise engineering designs.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with basic structural and mechanical calculations and validation of designs.
