Job description:
- Analyze business and functional requirements related to banking applications.
- Design, prepare, and execute manual test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, UAT, and system testing.
- Validate banking domain features such as payments, loans, credit/debit cards, transactions, internet/mobile banking, and compliance workflows
- Work closely with developers, BAs, and stakeholders to ensure complete test coverage.
- Log, track, and manage defects using tools like Jira, ALM, or Bugzilla.
- Participate in test planning, effort estimation, and status reporting.
- Ensure testing is compliant with banking regulations, security standards, and data confidentiality protocols
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business teams.
- 2 5 years of experience in Manual Testing (preferably in the Banking/Financial Services domain).
- Solid knowledge of STLC, SDLC, and defect management processes.
- Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, HP ALM, Quality Center, etc.).
