Key Deliverables
- Provision, manage, and monitor Relational/NoSQL database clusters in cloud and on-prem environments.
- Design and implement best practices for backup, DR, provisioning, tuning, and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to automate scalable, secure, and high-performance database solutions.
- Support incident management, conduct R&D; on emerging tech, and participate in on-call rotations.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage multiple database technologies including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and ElasticSearch.
- Use Python to develop automation scripts and manage infrastructure via Jenkins, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Operate within Linux/Unix environments and optimize systems based on networking and TCP/IP knowledge.
- Provide technical guidance to internal teams on database performance, scalability, and security.
