Role Description The Owner role is a full-time, in office position based in Guwahati, focusing on overseeing academic, administrative,



and strategic activities in alignment with IIT Roorkee’s mission and standards. The individual in this role will guide long-term institutional strategy, supervise key initiatives, and ensure that operations support high-quality education, research, and community engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with academic and administrative teams, managing budgets and resources, reviewing performance metrics, and making data-driven decisions to enhance institutional outcomes. The role also involves building partnerships with external stakeholders, representing the Institute in formal engagements, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. The Owner is expected to foster an inclusive, ethical, and academically rigorous environment that supports learners, educators, and researchers.
