Clinical Psychologist

Job Description

Key Responsibilities Conduct psychological assessments and clinical evaluations for paediatric and adult patients. Provide individual, family, and supportive counselling as required. Conduct behavioural and developmental assessments for children. Provide psychological interventions and therapy based on individual patient needs. Support children with developmental, behavioural, emotional, and learning-related concerns. Provide counselling and psychological support to adult patients with emotional, behavioural, and adjustment-related concerns. Prepare and maintain accurate psychological assessment reports and patient records. Coordinate with psychiatrists, paediatricians, physicians, neurologists, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals. Counsel parents and caregivers regarding behavioural and developmental concerns and appropriate interventions. Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning.



Maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospital policies and ethical standards. Conduct awareness programs and patient/family education sessions when required. Maintain proper documentation and comply with hospital quality and patient safety standards. Qualifications & Experience M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology / equivalent recognized qualification. RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) Registration/Certification – Mandatory. Experience in handling both paediatric and adult patients preferred. Freshers or experienced candidates may be considered based on qualification and competency. Skills & Competencies Strong clinical assessment and counselling skills. Good knowledge of psychological testing and therapeutic interventions. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact effectively with children, adults, parents, and caregivers. Robust documentation and report-writing skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinar
