Company Description AECOM s Enterprise Capabilities team is looking for an Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru Gurguam Mumbai About Enterprise Capabilities Fundamental to our Think and Act Globally strategy and digital adoption Enterprise Capabilities EC is AECOM s primary vehicle for workshare Operating across geographic boundaries and time-zones EC partners with regional and Global Business Line project teams to provide technical expertise accelerate delivery and keep AECOM competitive in the industry With a team of over 3000 technical professionals located across nine countries and remote technical anchors EC teams are trusted to deliver high-quality specialist services that help to fill capability gaps resourcing needs and technical constraints on projects of all scopes and sizes Roles and responsibilities Experience in designing various mechanical components of wastewater treatment systems like - ASP MBBR SBR MBR Digesters Solids Handling systems etc Experience in designing Water Treatment systems including conventional and advance system e g desalination systems Developing the design of Wastewater Treatment Plants including Sludge Treatment facilities and Odour Control facilities and Water and Wastewater Networks Water and wastewater mechanical equipment sizing and selection Screens Mixers Conveyors Sludge Thickeners and Centrifuges Chemical dosing systems etc Preparing hydraulic calculations for pressurized gravity systems Pump and fan sizing selection Valve selection including penstocks Pipe sizing and material selection Developing concept design detail design tender and construction documentation in accordance with both schedule and budget Preparing and reviewing design documents e g calculations datasheets specifications pipe and valve schedules Supervision of 3d modeling and 2d drawing preparation Positive understanding of P IDs and PFDs Multidiscipline coordination undertake liaison with internal clients customers vendors to devel
