Key Purpose of the Job (Position Summary)

This position shall be responsible for driving a culture of continuous improvement and creating awareness on quality processes, QBM tools and way of working and enhancing the competencies of the entire work force in this respect. The position is also responsible for supporting the operations team where required in problem identification and solution finding through use of various tools and techniques as prescribed by the QBM approach to work.

KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Annual planning and Improving skill & competencies





Plan for carrying out management diagnostics of manufacturing operations & identify improvement opportunities
Play active supporting role to promote manufacturing excellence
Facilitate annual planning in QBM way
Develop and implement an annual Improvement Plan for the Plant in conjunction with the Plant Teams and the Head supporting continuous improvement, quality system and cost out opportunities
Ensure clarity on RRA (Roles, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities) of owners of various processes across the organization, in terms of goals and operational objectives to be achieved

Productivity Improvement

Facilitate problem solving teams for use of various tools like QC – SPARSH circle or QIP’s etc.
Establish daily work management across manufacturing and other related processes / teams
Work together with the operation head to drive Value Adding initiatives in the Plant by using Kaizen, Visual management, Quality Circle etc.
