About The Role

We are seeking a Technical Manager – Automation & Control Systems, to provide strong technical leadership and system-level direction for developing advanced automation solutions in Epiroc’s mining and construction equipment portfolio.

This role is focused on heavy machinery automation - encompassing embedded control systems, real-time communication, and offboard supervisory platforms for mining and construction equipment.

You will act as a technical steward, driving design integrity, software-hardware integration, and cross-functional alignment across automation platforms such as drilling,



material handling, remote control, and autonomous or semi-autonomous machine applications.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping next-generation automation and control architectures - including Automotive CAN-based systems, C/C++ development, and Qt-based visualization - ensuring scalable, reliable, and safe operation of Epiroc’s autonomous and semi-autonomous equipment.

This position requires deep hands-on technical expertise, system-level thinking, and collaboration across global R&D; teams.

To guide the technical direction, architecture, and integration of scalable automation and control systems that enable Epiroc’s next generation of intelligent, protected, and sustainable mining and construction equipment.
