We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Data and Analytics Specialist.
In this role, you will:
Own solution design and engineering execution from discovery through build, test, release and run.
Translate business requirements into technical architecture, delivery plans, and measurable outcomes.
Lead engineering standards for code quality, performance, reliability, observability, and cost efficiency.
Design and optimize data models, schemas, and query patterns for analytical and operational workloads.
Build and maintain data pipelines that are reliable, scalable, and auditable, apply robust SQL and database fundamentals (partitioning, indexing concepts, query optimization, data lineage).
Build solutions using GCP services such as: BigQuery (data warehousing, optimization, governance patterns), PySpark, Python and Spark, Pub/Sub (event-driven ingestion and streaming patterns), Cloud Composer / Airflow (workflow orchestration, scheduling, dependency management)
Nice to have exposure: Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Run/GKE, Secret Manager, IAM, Vertex AI.
Implement CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code aligned to enterprise controls,define and implement data quality frameworks (completeness, accuracy, timeliness, consistency, uniqueness).
Build automated reconciliation/balancing checks across s
