Design and develop air-cooled heat exchangers based on project requirements, client specifications, and industry standards.
Develop and review detailed 3D models and 2D engineering drawings with correct GD&T.;
Select finned tubes, headers, tube layouts, fan configurations, and structural components based on thermal and mechanical considerations.
Execute mechanical design calculations for components (tube thickness, header design, vibration analysis, thermal stresses).
Review and interpret process data sheets, PFDs/P&IDs;, and client design parameters.
Coordinate with process engineers on thermal requirements, air-side heat transfer, and optimization of exchanger configuration.
Support thermal design tools (HTRI or equivalent) during process–mechanical integ
