Job description
We at FutureWorks are looking for an experienced Facility Manager. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and efficiency of our facilities. Your role involves managing a team of maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing strategies to optimize facility operations. You will collaborate with various departments to meet organizational needs while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Maintenance: Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs to ensure facilities are operational and protected.
- Team Management: Lead a team of maintenance technicians, janitorial staff, and contractors, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the facility budget, including forecasting expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities,



and overseeing procurement of supplies and services.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Security: Implement security protocols and procedures to safeguard facilities, equipment, and personnel, including monitoring access control systems and coordinating emergency response plans.
- Space Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize facility layout and utilization, including workspace design, furniture procurement, and relocation projects.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and oversee contracts with external vendors, service providers, and suppliers to ensure quality services and cost-effectiveness.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency, reduce waste, and implement sustainable practices within the facilities.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plan
