The Opportunity

Hitachi Energy is currently looking for a Testing Engineer to join their team in Maneja, Vadodara, India. This team seeks a skilled and motivated individual. He or she must be flexible to accommodate business requirements and experience in working with diverse groups and cultures. The ability to multitask & deliver within timelines is essential.

How you’ll make an impact
- Led and supervise the routine testing of high-voltage circuit breakers (72.5 kV to 800 kV) ensuring full compliance with relevant standards and quality requirements.
- Managed Test plant operations to achieve Business Unit (BU) revenue targets while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Provided support in new product development,



including testing validation and performance evaluation.
- Coordinate and attended customer inspections, ensuring compliance with specifications and handling technical queries.
- Responsible for maintenance of test plant equipment and execution of calibration activities to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Ensured safety of workmen and test equipment within the testing facility by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Addressed test plant quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to avoid recurrence.
- Should possess adequate knowledge and understanding of relevant national & international standards like IEC.
- Must be able to understand different kinds of electrical schematic drawings. Should be capable of tracing the fault & solving it (both electrical as well as mechanical) by referring the documents.
