Role summary -

We are seeking a detail-oriented Japanese Language Specialist who is proficient in Japanese reading and writing (Kanji & Kana). This role is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of experience who are eager to build a career in operations. Full training on KYC, AML standards, and internal processes will be provided.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing customer documentation in Japanese,



supporting KYC processes, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Attention to detail and fluency in Japanese are essential.

What you’ll do
- Review applicant information and documentation in Japanese and English, using internal systems and regulatory tools.
- Translate and interpret customer documents to support KYC compliance checks.
- Approve, decline, or request additional documentation from applicants based on internal guidelines.
- Perform periodic reviews for existing customers and analyse information for unusual patterns or inconsistencies.
- Escalate potential risks or discrepancies to the Team Lead or Supervisor.
- Assist with case reviews and investigations as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve efficiency and enhance customer experience.
