COWI's Heavy Civil team in India is rapidly growing and to support the growth we are looking for a Senior Public Health and Fire Fighting Engineer.
Your key responsibilities will :
• Have solid experience in the design and delivery of major infrastructure projects,
including road and highway tunnels, underground and elevated metro stations, stormwater pumping stations, wastewater pumping stations, water and wastewater infrastructure, and other heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Have extensive design experience in potable water distribution systems, drainage and sewer networks, stormwater management systems, fire hydrant systems, automatic sprinkler systems, fire water storage and pumping systems, and tunnel fire-fighting systems in accordance with international standards and project requirements.
• Lead the design and review of tunnel firefighting systems, including hydrant, deluge, water mist, and foam systems, as well as metro/station firefighting and suppression systems.
• Prepare and review hydraulic calculations, demand assessments, equipment sizing, design reports, technical specifications, drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
