Service Engineer – Fleet In-Charge is responsible for the end-to-end maintenance, availability, and safe operation of diesel-powered Passenger Carriers and Scissor Lift equipment used in underground mining operations. The role involves hands-on service engineering, fleet supervision, manpower coordination, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards.

1. Fleet Maintenance & Availability
- Ensure maximum availability and reliability of the assigned fleet of diesel Passenger Carriers and Scissor Lifts used in underground operations.




- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities as per OEM recommendations and site requirements.
- Monitor equipment health, recurring failures, and take corrective and preventive actions to improve MTBF and reduce MTTR.

2. Service Operations & Supervision
- Supervise day-to-day service activities of service technicians and helpers deployed for the fleet.
- Allocate jobs, schedule maintenance tasks, and monitor execution to ensure timely completion with required quality standards.
- Provide hands-on technical support for complex troubleshooting and critical repairs.

3. Safety, Compliance & Standards
- Ensure all maintenance and service activities are carried out in strict compliance with safety regulations, underground mining norms, and company SOPs.
- Conduct job safety analysis (JSA), toolbox talks, and ensure proper permit systems are followed before starting any
