Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize database solutions across our Azure cloud data platform. This role requires solid hands-on expertise in Azure SQL Managed Instance, performance tuning, ETL development, and cloud-based data integration. The ideal candidate will work independently on complex database solutions and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Database Design & Development
- Design,



develop, and maintain database schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
- Build scalable and high-performing solutions using Azure SQL Managed Instance (experience with SQL Hyperscale is a plus).
- Implement and support ETL solutions using SSIS.
- Develop and maintain reports and datasets using SSRS.

Data Integration & Cloud Services
- Develop and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Manage SQL Agent jobs, scheduling, and automation processes.
- Collaborate with application and cloud teams to ensure reliable and secure data solutions.

Performance Optimization
- Perform query tuning, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in transactional and analytical systems.
- Implement monitoring and performance best practices.

Collaboration
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning an
