Job Summary

If you are a Design Engineer, Emerson has an exciting role for you We are looking for a Design Engineer to work with our Pervasive Sensing Team. This role will work independently and as a part of a team to generate Customer Drawings. You will also be responsible for Creating Quote Drawings.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Create 3D CAD Models, Assemblies & Drawings in SolidWorks.
- Create Quotation, Level 2, Level 3 & Level 4 drawings using SolidWorks.
- Create drawings for Parts and accessories.
- Preparation of compiled drawing documentation along with sales documents.
- Perform peer drawing checks.
- Revise Level Drawings per customer requirement.
- Prepare Bill of Materials for Level Drawings.
- Create missing hookups and store in database for future use.
- Maintain documents in SolidWorks PDM.
- Allocate and review workload for peer drafters.
- Coordinate between the Nippon Fisher CD Team and the FCEC CD Team.
- Coordinate with the Sales, OE and Engineering teams for any required clarifications.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Experience in CAD modelling.
- Basic knowledge in SolidWorks.
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
- Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering.
- Basic understanding of Engineering Standards
- Experience in SolidWorks Macros is added advantage.
