Role Summary

A reputed CBSE Boarding School in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand
is seeking an experienced and passionate Female TGT Social Science Teacher to
teach students of Classes 6–10. The ideal candidate should have strong subject
knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to deliver
engaging, concept-based learning.

Since the school follows a boarding school workplace
with evening preparatory classes, candidates with prior experience in
residential or boarding schools will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach
Social Science to students of Classes 6–10 as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare
engaging lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Develop
students' understanding of History, Geography, Civics, and Economics.
- Conduct
regular assessments and monitor student progress.
- Provide




academic support and guidance during evening preparatory classes.
- Maintain
classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
- Participate
in parent-teacher meetings, school events, examinations, and co-curricular
activities.
- Collaborate
with colleagues and contribute to academic planning.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's/Master's
Degree in Social Science or relevant subject.
- B.Ed.
is Mandatory.
- 2–5
years of experience as a TGT Social Science Teacher in a CBSE school.
- Experience
in a boarding/residential school will be preferred.
- Female
candidates preferred as per the requirement.
