Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Node.js Developer/Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Node.js development, along with proficiency in backend development, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, AWS, NoSQL databases, distributed systems, and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Node.js applications.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship recent features.
3. Lead the technical architecture and design discussions.
4. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and leadership.
5. Ensure code quality, performance, and security best practices are followed.
6. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments.
7. Implement and maintain integrations with third-party services and APIs.

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
9. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:
1. Extensive experience with Node.js development.
2. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with HTML/CSS.
3. Deep understanding of backend development concepts and principles.
4. Experience working with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.
5. Proficiency in NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.
6. Knowledge of distributed systems architecture and design patterns.
7. Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and mentor a team.
8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
9. Ability to work in an agile environment and deliver results under tight deadlines.
10. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
