Stantec is looking for a Highway Design Engineer that can be a part of our growing team in Pune office. Your Key Responsibilities
- Produce and review design solutions from outline briefs, correctly interpret data and effectively communicate to others.
- Check design and assessment calculations and review detailed drawings.
- Work on multiple projects concurrently with limited supervision.
- Ensure delivery of project in accordance with quality, timescales, and budget.
- Produce designs, calculations, specifications and drawings to ensure that technical designs will provide appropriate solution.
- Plan, program, co-ordinate and write reports for specific projects.
- Maintain communication and develop ongoing contacts with clients as required.
- Supporting Senior Engineers in the analysis,
design and calculations related to design of different highway/roadway components.
- Maintain records of all design calculations/drawings/documents.
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Minimum 5 to 10 years’ professional experience in the consulting and engineering industry after graduate education, technical knowledge of road design in Open Roads.
- Civil3D and / or Inroads and/or 12D knowledge is a plus.
- Positive knowledge of all aspects of technical standards and design codes such as AASHTO, Austroads, DMRB.
- Design delivery in Open Roads on international projects is a must.
- Ability to take directions from senior engineers and execute them efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
- Effective communicator and able to work under tight schedule.
