Responsibilities
LC & Contract Executive – Credit Management
Letter of Credit (LC) Management
- Create and issue Letters of Credit (LCs) in accordance with contractual terms, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.




- Prepare and process inland LCs for domestic High Sea Sales (HSS) transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and buyers to ensure the accuracy and completeness of LC documentation.
- Liaise with banks regarding LC discounting, premiums, and related terms to facilitate smooth financial transactions.
- Monitor LC due dates and ensure timely payments by coordinating with internal stakeholders (Finance & Accounts, Marketing) and external stakeholders (customers and banks).
- Submit and negotiate LC documents with banks as required.
- Follow up on LC amendments, payment SWIFTs, and LC transmissions to ensure seamless execution.
- Maintain accurate MIS reports for LC issuance, amendments, and payment tracking.
- Escalate delays or discrepancies related to LCs and payments to the concerned stakeholders for timely resolution.
