Overview:
The IT Asset Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the organization's IT assets, ensuring that all hardware and software components are tracked, maintained, and optimized. They are responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to disposal, and play a key role in optimizing IT asset utilization and controlling costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and maintain an inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.
- Develop and implement asset management policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and maintain accurate license records.
- Coordinate the procurement and disposal of IT assets in accordance with organizational policies.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the IT asset inventory.
- Provide technical expertise and support for IT asset management tools and systems.
- Optimize asset utilization to minimize waste and reduce costs.
