An Electrical Design Engineer in real estate creates detailed electrical layouts, schematics, and technical specifications for residential and commercial projects, focusing on HT/LT power distribution, lighting, and safety systems using AutoCAD/Revit. They coordinate with architects, ensure compliance with local codes (e.g., NBC), and prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities).

Key Responsibilities
Design & Drafting: Review and Validation of design drawing of electrical drawings, including lighting layouts, power layouts, earthing, and lightning protection.
Design Knowledge: Design knowledge of HT & LT power distribution systems, Substation layouts, and MCC SLDs (Single Line Diagrams).
Coordination: Collaborate with MEP teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) to integrate electrical systems into building designs using CAD.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, NBC, IEC).
Documentation: Review and Validation of technical specifications, cable schedules, and Bills of Material/Quantity (BOQ).




Thorough knowledge in NBC Standards / IS regulations, etc. for MEP works.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 8+ years in electrical design and execution within the real estate or construction industry.
Software Proficiency: AutoCAD and relevant calculations software.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of power distribution, lighting calculations, earthing, and LV (Low Voltage) systems.
Soft Skills: Robust analytical, communication, and project management skills.
