Job Purpose: The Site Safety Engineer is responsible for cultivating a robust safety culture and enhancing the Safety Management System within project areas of solar manufacturing facilities. They conduct thorough EHS inspections and audits, identify environmental aspects and impacts,
and ensure strict adherence to legal requirements and internal guidelines. Their role focuses on proactively managing safety initiatives to create a secure and compliant work environment, minimizing risks and promoting continuous improvement in safety standards.
Responsibilities
Enhancing Safety Culture:
- Foster and promote a solid safety culture within the solar manufacturing site, emphasizing the importance of safety among all employees and contractors.
Safety Management System Enhancement
- Improve and enhance the Safety Management System (SMS) at the project area, ensuring it effectively identifies, assesses, and mitigates safety risks.
EHS Inspection and Audit
- Conduct regular EHS inspections and audits to assess compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
