Software Development Manager

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead our dynamic team in designing and developing a state-of-the-art cloud-based SaaS application. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical depth across backend and frontend systems, a proven track record of team leadership, and experience leveraging contemporary AI capabilities including agentic AI to enhance engineering productivity, system intelligence, and automation.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software developers and QA engineers skilled in Java, Python, React, and Node.js in the development of our SaaS application.
- Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle including planning, design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and operational teams to ensure alignment with business goals, customer needs, and operational requirements.
- Provide strong technical leadership, driving best practices in code quality, testing, scalability,



and maintainability.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted and agentic AI development practices, enabling teams to leverage AI agents for tasks such as code generation, test automation, debugging, and workflow orchestration.
- Identify opportunities to integrate agentic AI capabilities into the product, such as intelligent automation, decision-making workflows, and autonomous system behaviors.
- Establish best practices for the responsible and effective use of AI tools in the software development lifecycle.
- Review and approve development releases and manage the release process.
- Monitor emerging technology trends, particularly in AI/ML and agentic systems, and guide their adoption where appropriate.
- Ensure delivery of scalable, reliable, and high-quality software systems.
