ROLE DESCRIPTION: Senior Technical Services Specialist, Dairy - North India

Role Definition

Provide technical support to sales team and customers in defined geographies of India. Conduct research and field trials. Respond to customer’s technical issues and recommend solutions. Cooperate with R&D; to improve products focusing on customer service, product development and species programs for region. Key responsibility is to support sales outcome in partnership, collaboration and guidance from the marketing and sales team leaders in the region, reporting directly to the functional manager. Under supervision from manager, receives a moderate level of instruction, guidance and direction.

General Responsibilities

· Partner with Sales team members and distributors to provide technical support in meetings with customers. Assist in identifying additional sales opportunities. Recommend products and solutions to meet customer requirements. Conduct product demonstrations.

· Conduct and follow up on market research, field and customer trials. Document trial outcomes and experimental results.





· Develop training materials & train sales team members, distributors and customers on technical concepts & products.

· Contribute to update and generate product documentation (data sheet, TRS, product presentation, training material) in coordination with Marketing. Provide inputs for products brochures. Update training materials as they relate to use of existing and current products in local markets. Translate product documentation and technical papers as needed.

· Maintain close relationships across university and research institutes to build technical network to support to customers and sales teams. Participate in symposium, seminar and other technical events to improve reputation of Novus in industry.
