In our optimized CIP Platform, CIP Terra Technologies – a project delivery company delivering projects from onshore wind, solar PV and battery energy storage systems, to bioenergy, thermal and transmission infrastructure – is currently looking for Senior Associate, Project Development to join our office in Mumbai, India.

Team
We are a multidisciplinary team developing large-scale renewable energy projects in India, from early-stage origination through execution and offtake. Our work sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and market engagement, delivering meaningful outcomes in a energetic, high-responsibility environment.

Role
The selected candidate will be responsible for end‑to‑end development of renewable energy projects— from origination to pre‑construction readiness.



The role requires solid commercial acumen, stakeholder management, regulatory understanding, and technical coordination to move projects through the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:
- Co-ordinate due diligence on investment opportunities, including financial, commercial, ESG, technical, sector and company-specific diligence with external advisors, consultants
- Prepare investment materials, including industry overviews, investment rationales, diligence summaries, valuation analysis and recommendations for Investment Committee and Board discussions
- Contribute to discussions on investment attractiveness, key risks, value creation potential and exit considerations
- Assist in monitoring existing portfolio companies, including performance tracking, benchmarking, financial analysis and strategic initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with advisors, bankers, general
