Responsibilities:
1) Operations Management: Supervise others working within established operational systems.
2) Incoming Goods: Manage a medium-sized, medium-complexity warehouse and stores using existing procedures, and develop new procedures when required, to ensure that all goods and supplies are stored and recorded appropriately.
3) Outgoing Goods: Cultivate an understanding of packaging needs and develop ideas for prototypes to support the packaging process.
4) Inventory: Manage inventory for a major site or large factory, following existing procedures to identify any issues and solve problems.
5) Leadership and Direction: Explain the local action plan, to support team members in their understanding of what needs to be done, and how this relates to the broader business plan and the organization's strategy, mission, and vision; motivate people to achieve local business goals.
6) Work Scheduling and Allocation: Assign short-term work schedules to a team of subordinates in order to achieve expectations while following established timelines.
7) Inventory Control:



Carry out a range of inventory-control activities either to support others or to fulfill the requirements of the role.
8) Health, Safety, and Environment: Follow the organization's health, safety, and setting (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the well-being of self and others in the workplace; instruct the team in safe working methods; identify instances of risky behaviors within the team and take appropriate action, escalating serious issues as appropriate.
9) Performance Management: Respond to personal objectives and use performance management systems to improve personal performance; or monitor the performance of the team, allocate work and review completion, take appropriate corrective action to ensure timeliness and quality, and contribute to formal individual performance management and appraisal.
