Position: Murex Project Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Murex Project Manager with a strong background in Banking and Capital Markets to lead and manage Murex implementation, upgrade, migration, and enhancement projects. The ideal candidate should possess extensive project management experience, robust stakeholder management skills, and a solid understanding of financial products and capital markets operations. Experience working with Murex MX.3 is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end delivery of Murex projects, including implementation, upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
• Manage project governance, reporting, risk management, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and senior management to ensure successful project execution.
• Drive project planning and execution using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks,
and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC processes, testing standards, and quality assurance practices.
• Oversee functional, system integration, UAT, and production readiness activities.
• Manage geographically distributed teams across multiple regions and time zones.
• Facilitate steering committee meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure project deliverables meet business objectives, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
• 8+ years of Project Management experience within Banking and Capital Markets.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience managing Murex-related projects.
• Hands-on experience with Murex MX.3 implementation, upgrade, or support projects preferred.
