As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality web and mobile applications. You will take ownership of manual testing, participate in process improvement, and optionally contribute to automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.

Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

Execute manual test cases and report bugs and errors to development teams.

Suggest and implement improvements in testing procedures and quality processes.

Collaborate with developers, project managers, and clients to ensure software quality at every stage.

Perform regression testing and ensure issues are resolved before release.

Optionally contribute to test automation efforts (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).

Take part in sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups as part of an agile team.

Document test findings, processes, and metrics clearly and accurately.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience in QA/testing.

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Experience writing transparent, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test scripts.

Proven ability to detect, document, and track software defects effectively.

Experience with web application testing, cross-browser testing, and mobile testing.

Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira, ClickUp, or similar.

Good understanding of SDLC and Agile frameworks.

Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Preferred (Optional) Skills

Basic experience in automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.

Knowledge of version control systems like Git.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and testing in DevOps environments.
