Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and manage a group of 7-10 electrical, electronic/control engineers and subject matter experts at Lam India performing Product Development activities for Product Group
- Responsible for the research, design, development, modification, and evaluation of our products & subsystems by complex decision-making considering cost concerns and technical risks
- Responsible for determining and leading design approaches and analysing equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results
- Performs resource management and reviews (Budgeting, Prioritization, procurement, Utilization, Forecasting, reporting etc) for the team
- Act as advisor to unit or sub-units and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems.




- Interacts with India and Europe based Mechanical, Electrical Engineers, managers of different Lam Product Groups in delivering results.
- Can be responsible for creating management of best practices and documentation at departmental levels

Mandatory Skills:
- Demonstrated experience with capital equipment or similar (for e.g. medical instrumentation, automotive, aircraft, etc.) industry in a sub-system design function. 6+ years of prior experience in managing direct reports consisting of electrical engineers / lead engineers/ Subject matter experts working on multiple projects
- Proven hands-on experience in the design, control, and productization of complex equipment, machinery, and AC/DC power distribution
- Proven hands-on experience in the design, development, and realization of control panel designs/PCBA/ electrical subsystems from concept to final release for mass volume productio
