The Facility Specialist/Assistant Manager for ZEISS Global Capability Center (GCC) is responsible for managing the physical infrastructure, operations, and services of the facility to ensure a safe, effective, and high-quality work environment. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on operational management. The Facility Manager will oversee team and vendor contracts to deliver consistent, high-quality service in alignment with ZEISS corporate standards and values.

Operations and Maintenance
- Oversee daily operations, including Housekeeping,



Security, Facility readiness and maintenance and repair of all building systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical) to ensure reliability and high availability.
- Implement proactive and preventive maintenance programs to extend asset lifespan and minimize downtime.

Health, Safety, and Security
- Ensure full compliance with local and OSHA standards.
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness and business continuity plans.
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards and align with builder team to conduct fire drills.

Vendor and Contract Management
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure adherence to contracted Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Budgeting and Financial Management
- Develop, manage, and monitor facility budgets, including forecasting operational expenses (Opex) and capital expenditures (Capex).
