Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
Test Design & Execution
- Analyze user stories, acceptance criteria, technical designs, and business requirements to define effective test scenarios.
- Create, maintain, and execute functional, regression, integration, API, UI, smoke, and exploratory test cases.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, test execution, and defects.
- Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, design reviews, and release readiness discussions to identify quality risks early.

Test Automation
- Develop and maintain automated tests using up-to-date automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, KarateDSL, REST-assured,



or similar tools.
- Contribute reusable automation components, utilities, test data patterns, and framework improvements.
- Increase automation coverage across UI, API, integration, smoke, and regression suites.
- Improve test reliability by identifying flaky tests, reducing false failures, and optimizing execution time.

CI/CD & Continuous Testing
- Integrate automated tests into build and deployment pipelines in partnership with engineering and DevOps teams.
- Support quality gates by ensuring critical automated tests run consistently before release or deployment.
- Review pipeline results, investigate failures, and communicate quality risks to the team.
- Contribute to continuous testing practices that support faster feedback and improved delivery predictability.

Defect Management & Quality Metrics
- Log clear, actionable defects with reproduction steps, evidence, severity, and expected results.
