As a BESS Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a central role in designing battery energy storage systems that accelerate the shift to clean energy across the globe.

What You'll Do
- Design and engineer electrical and control systems for energy storage solutions, from concept to detailed engineering.
- Size battery capacity and finalize system configurations for global tenders and project requirements.
- Design and integrate BESS systems for utility-scale, microgrid, and solar hybrid applications, including containerized and modular architectures (DC and AC coupled).
- Serve as the single point of contact for BESS technical discussions with global developers and vendors.
- Prepare technical specifications, including electrical panel design, cable sizing, busbar sizing, and switchgear selection.
- Integrate battery packs, hardware components, and software interfaces into cohesive system designs.
- Create technical documents, reports, and presentations aligned with project specifications and quality standards.
What You Bring
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in BESS or renewable energy system design and integration.
- Solid knowledge of electrical panel design, cable sizing, busbar sizing, and switchgear selection.
- Basic understanding of solar and wind power plant design concepts and energy yield simulation tools such as PVsyst or WindPro.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI or Tablea
